What is english district lcms?

The English District is one of the 35 districts of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS), a Christian denomination based in the United States. The English District is responsible for overseeing the work of LCMS congregations and ministries located in the region of the United States that includes Illinois, Indiana, Lower Michigan, and Ohio, as well as the Canadian province of Ontario. The English District provides support to churches and pastors through education, leadership training, and mission opportunities, and seeks to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people of all ages and backgrounds. The English District also collaborates with other LCMS districts and organizations to support Lutheran education, evangelism, and social outreach efforts throughout North America and around the world.
